Ukulele
She plays her ukulele
A single mom next door
I think that she's improving
Told her to play it more
Someone shouted once
"You're playing it too loud"
She continued strumming
Made me kinda proud
I've been in her shoes
With a trumpet, and guitar
Played in our garage
The door was not ajar
I admit to playing poor
Was hard to tolerate
But now I'm good at both
Though I never will be great
A single mom next door
I think that she's improving
Told her to play it more
Someone shouted once
"You're playing it too loud"
She continued strumming
Made me kinda proud
I've been in her shoes
With a trumpet, and guitar
Played in our garage
The door was not ajar
I admit to playing poor
Was hard to tolerate
But now I'm good at both
Though I never will be great
