Author's Note
This was written for and about the repeating online love affairs that continue to happen and get to the inevitable breaking point where it logically has to end, but the break is usually messy. Stemming from a conversation I was having with a new poetess friend who we’ve both been down this path before multiple times and we see ourselves heading in the same direction.
All writing remains the property of the author. Don't use it for any purpose without their permission.

The man making the woman feel language in her clitoris.
This could be much more compelling to this reader, if the poet went deeper into himself.
That doesn't happen here.
There's such a powerful relationship between a male artist and a woman who feels his art in her sex...but here it's treated cavalierly.
Maybe that's a choice--I'm not sure.
When things like math or language go so far they become sexual feelings, that's an intense place. And a man this jaded / cynical is fascinating psychological terrain this reader would like explored more.
Enjoyed, if only for what might have been!
