Alone
Alone I was born
To this world;
Alone am I
As I journey on Earth;
Alone I will depart
From this plane of existence;
Alone my carcass will be buried
To be consumed by the elements;
Alone I will face my judgement
Without anyone on my side.

Alone and interconnected...everything gets recycled eventually...and all the atoms that make up your body are billions of years old...everything is made from second-hand parts...great write my friend.

On one level, this is very true. We can only really rely on ourselves, and certainly can't take anyone else with us. But... friends and family are there to walk certain bits with us, aren't they?
