I tossed and turned all night, searching in my dreams, I couldn't find you anywhere, you've gone, or so it seems

I reach out to find you, I stretch my desperate hand, but you slip through my fingers, like drifting moving sand

I can't get a hold of you, confused what have I done, my dream girl is nowhere near and here comes the morning Sun

A night without you in my dreams, breaks my heart in two, the only time I'm happy is when I'm spending time with you

Where did you go to, have found a dream of someone new, does he make you happier, than when I dreamed with you

Or is this just a glitch in time, just a restless night within my brain, if I sleep soundly, will you visit me again

I wake up in the morning, my pillows wet from where I cry, I hope your back tonight my love, I'm left to wonder why

Left all day to guess what went wrong, I'll have to wait until tonight it seems, will last night be nothing or are you really slipping from my dreams
