A Passerby in the Night
It was all late night laughs with you
Now your final night has befallen
Matters no more who dealt the first blow
The result lay us both beaten
As I saw it, you turned a corner
You pushed me right away
But let it be known to all in town
I’m glad your suffering has ended
May you find in your next life
A more just and deserved existence
And reconnect with the ones you’ve befriended
On a timeline of harmony together
