no control
honesty escapes
without hesitation
make no excuses
I let truth speak
emotions flowing

Empty

cigarettes
are meal replacement
suitably on edge
starving for
resolution
so very hungry

Awake

clear as day
sunrise to fall
getting weary but
cannot sleep
I lie awake
for many nights
