Untraceable
My heart was carried along
By a cold, swift current
Merciless at it's worst
I carved it into the gritty sand
Not far from the shore
Where one good wave
Could cover it
And easily turn it into something
Quite forgettable
Not to mention untraceable

Whoosh! Windswept and out to sea. How wonderfully you’ve defined heartbreak. How lost and unaccounted for you can feel when someone trounces your sincerest most raw emotions. To the point and so poignant. H🌷
