HER Birth

To me each day was like the last- The same
nothing ever changed and I was to blame
I think what held me back was my past - The shame
Although I never noticed how it dimmed my flame

I trapped in this self made prison of pain
I had no dreams, no plans and no aim
I Somedays I couldn't even say my own name
I was the joker of this card game

To all who would ask I would proclaim
That all was good, Yes a good liar I became!
Weak, Debilitated, Incapacitated and tame
Then the moment of realization of what's happening came...

I closed my eyes and I could hear nothing but I could see clearly -End game
My future flashed before me and I knew I had to lay claim
To what my third eye was seeing- I was no longer mentally maim
At that moment SHE was born and I was renamed

Yes reborn from within - SHE was THE DAME!
SHE took my trash and traded me HER treasure - Old me defamed
A QUEEN within with peasant flesh - War games
SHE made me see that the picture needed to match its gorgeous frame.
