Outlaw Country

Drinking black coffee
Smoking cigarettes
Todays newspaper hasn't got here yet  Sometimes I feel like I'm living on the TV screen

Whiskey bottles
Trazodone
Oxy powder all over my nose
That girl upstairs in my bed needs get up and go  She better not come down here
Wearing my cloths

Yesterday's
On the radio
Today I don't know where the hell I'm gonna go
Maybe I'll just pack up my things and leave  This town always takes the best out of me

Black Camero
100 dollar bills
I wish I was living in a cheap motel
Throwing them hundreds in a wishing welll
Disappearing like 1985

Faded tattoos
Levi jeans
Southern accents and bleach blonde hair  Lounging around in my underwear
The ACs busted but I don't give a damn

Don't go gently
To live is to fly
Passing every car south on I95
Vibrating to thump of the bass
The rearview mirror doesn't recognize my face

West Palm
Florida Keys
Maybe I'll just stay here and sleep on the beach
Ramble until I die that's the American dream
