Florida oasis
Inland crystal spring
Translucent blue water
On Edenic land
Owned by bohemian friends
Of wife’s children
Wife dives deep into pool
To find joy of nature
But alligator suns on shore
I warn beloved whose swim
Goes on like a deep sea diver
Unafraid of sharks
She rises for home
Where people offer
To share their place under the sun
With my bride alone
My words roll like a
Fish out of water
“If you stay here
