Always the last to know,
That’s what they say.
Not this wife though,
Cos I found out today.

The family are unaware,
They think everything is sweet.
If  I told them would you care?
But our life is not that neat.

I had my suspicions,
Didn’t want to believe.
Little hints and my intuitions,
That you would deceive.

I had the evidence to prove it,
In front of me, right here.
But I want you to admit,
You’ve wronged me that’s clear.

Guess you thought it wouldn’t harm,
To be a little indiscreet,
To use your male charm,
It still means you’re a cheat.

Every time I think,
You tell me you need to sleep.
It just makes my heart sink,
Now all I do is weep.

I wonder just how long,
Is the whole thing real.
What you are doing is wrong,
You just don’t know how I feel.

Now the decision is mine,
What would you do?
Should this marriage resign?
If I did it to you.

The hurt inside,
Adultery but by another name.
But I’ve still got my pride,
To me it is the same.

Adultery is with a woman,
That’s what the law says.
But you did it with a man,
