"Gives one pause to power". That is an interesting phraseology to me...  As I wrote this in response to someone that gave me pause.  (and I actually told them so in those words!).  They are like a painting that I could interact with, indefinitely.  A great and beautiful mystery...  Much like the moon...  From some far remote place that I can feel when I interact with the painting of them...  And I believe they are a castle filled with such paintings...  These words can only glimpse into the surface...

That particular piece I performed in a Poetry Slam.  (My first and only such experience.)

I have learned much from this site about the spoke poetry medium which I aim to incorporate into future productions.  And I am finding much inspiration here with writers such as yourself.

I am categorically no elitist.  I place all others above myself in all circumstances.

Well the moon is right up my alley. But more so than that is the essence of this. I am sure ( or maybe I'm not ) you've seen 300 , but this strangely reminds me of the monologue of observation:  

It's not fear that grips him...only a heightened sense of things. The cold air in his lungs. Windswept pines moving against the coming night.

This is a record of experience, as a ring in a tree.  

I very much enjoyed your youtube channel and hoped some of your work was on here so I could nominate to spoken word of the month. Your reading is very adept.

That is a very interesting impression.  This may be the most minimalist things I have ever written.  It is an entirely new form of daring for me.  

I honestly never thought whatever I did or do on my channel would resonate with anyone.
