I detest forced rhyme; or, rhyme that feels forced. When we were in school our professor gave us an exercise that guessed the rhyme before the reader read it. LOL! It was AMAZING how predictable writing could be! Particularly surrounding rhyme. This was one of the greatest lessons I learned in college, and it was through experience.

of course. you were asked to make sense of the end of a line with a particular rhyme and the right word occurred. and that's fine, not forced
