The Missing Left Shoe

The realities and pressures of each person's own struggle(s) with their mental health issues are smartly penned, Jackie. It's eye opening and I am so grateful to read; trying to get a better sense, to add to my own personal growth and empathy. It's always impressive to me when poems come from such a personal place. it's raw, honest and I appreciate it, so so much.

Honestly I don’t feel like I’m bipolar most of the time until it becomes clear that I’m the oddball by never finishing  school things like that , when there is like you know discussions about certain things and I just don’t get it but everyone else does, it becomes obvious to myself that I have a learning disability on top of being bipolar, so that’s always fun LOL that’s when it really sinks in. Just dealing with a little writers block right now and I had to reach deep to find something to write about for Napo last night .  
I appreciate you you’re a really good person who always take the time to visit me and I do love that thank you Blueberry-shortcake my friend🤗❤️

Oh, do I remember the days you describe so perfectly. This describes me to a tee before the lithium. You have a gift for reflecting on yourself and creating a scene in poetry that tells the story of the bipolar experience. Love the subtle sarcasm here and honesty. This is a genuine poem told honestly and without holding back. You really are as great a poet when looking at yourself as the world. Such diverse talent you have.

I had  a friend who was stabbed to death by someone with bipolar
Without any justification to that person action
Instead we were told her needs help...


But come to think of it maybe we all have it to a certain degree....

I like this.  Very look forward and keep moving vibe.

I must say I looked like Sabastian on The Little Mermaid when my jaw dropped reading that final stanza. I thought you were referring to someone else, so was shocked when you revealed it was yourself. I have never seen nor experienced you in the states you described; however, that doesn't mean they aren't truth. Only you're aware of your complete experience.

I will say I think you are one of the most kind, thoughtful, and considerate people I've ever met. That's coming from my experience. xo
