Lottery Dreams
Every week I play the lottery
Every week I think I'm gonna win
It's my only ticket out of poverty
I'm so entrenched, I'm really dug in
Chorus:
I dream about buying a new house, a new car
I dream about traveling the world
Lottery tickets are my one and only bane
It's the only thing keeping me sane
There is nothing sexy about being poor
Debt collectors at your door
There is nothing wrong with wanting more
I'm a rich man at my very core
Maybe this is the week I leave obscurity
Maybe this is the week I win
Maybe I'll end up with some security
I don't think it would be a sin
Chorus
Don't tell me I'm wasting my time
It's the only thing I've got to waste
Don't take my dreams away from me
I need to win it posthaste
Chorus
Every week I think I'm gonna win
It's my only ticket out of poverty
I'm so entrenched, I'm really dug in
Chorus:
I dream about buying a new house, a new car
I dream about traveling the world
Lottery tickets are my one and only bane
It's the only thing keeping me sane
There is nothing sexy about being poor

There is nothing wrong with wanting more

I don't think it would be a sin
