THE DEVIL YOU NEED
I was God
Among man
But I'm lost
Just like you
You once looked to the sun
To get a glimpse of me
But I fell straight to Hell
Like you, I learned to bleed
Now my blood
Equals yours
Diluted by
Lies I lived
You once drained the sun
To try to be like me
I promised you the moon
To fly before you see
Truth in me
Carved in stone
Chiseled by
False profits
If we are dead
What's the difference
Between demons
And angels now?
If we're alive
What's our sentence
To the abyss
Or living lies?
I'LL TAKE THE ABYSS
What is my name
Apollo
Or
APOLLYON?
But no one knows
I became

Flawless my poet... please excuse that word it lessen the brevity of one's intellect... , I should have stated, it does make one's imagination pique in interest … your musing does make my Haitian Creole mind wonder and I am very well versed in things I dare not admit... or mention, however, you give me glimpses into windows of he dark unknown few dare to open let alone left.. and as my grann will say, you can learn from anyone, it all depends on what they are selling, unquote... please enjoy your evening my poet
