The lake
Free indeed and very pleased
Flying high on dodgy knees
No cats cradle and no need
Of those things I took in greed
Now this lake is all it takes
No more shit days with bellyache
Reflecting on past heartbreaks
Gone in a splash of fluid embrace

This reminded me of recently. A friend in her wisdom said to me do you fancy doing something wild? And we did. We went for a swim in the sea at 4:45am and bobbed in the high tide of the Irish Sea for half an hour until the cold forced us to shore.
Those are the moments in which we feel most alive. So I hope you enjoy your lake experience with everything you have.

That sounds like a great experience and I've got a cool image of that bobbing. Yes sometimes you got to do something different- I've yet to try in this particular lake. The little poem was inspired by a picture of a friend leaping high into the still water.
