Defeated mind
As if were haphazard
dawn appeared reassuring
dragging me out
from the curse of an endless night
I laid my head on window
held by dizziness
following the clouds
running crazy in the wind
The leaden sky was gravid
of contaminated rain
but then there was a miracle:
pale rays of sun
escaped for few seconds
through the suffocating blanket
which covered the earth
as a mortuary drape
I followed an idea's glimmer
in search of a nonexistent key
explaining the existence
but the point got lost
among the most remote folds
of a defeated mind
Thoughts pursued and overlapped
without rhyme
fast as the clouds
in that sky overload of storm
dawn appeared reassuring
dragging me out
from the curse of an endless night
I laid my head on window
held by dizziness
following the clouds
running crazy in the wind
The leaden sky was gravid
of contaminated rain
but then there was a miracle:
pale rays of sun
escaped for few seconds
through the suffocating blanket
which covered the earth
as a mortuary drape
I followed an idea's glimmer
in search of a nonexistent key
explaining the existence
but the point got lost
among the most remote folds
of a defeated mind
Thoughts pursued and overlapped
without rhyme
fast as the clouds
in that sky overload of storm
