Scattered But Sweet
I love you and the way your eyebrows lift when you see me.
I love how your eyes can undress me without words, and how they light up first thing in the morning when we meet again outside of our dreams.
I love the inner child in you, inviting my own to come out and play.
Let's ignore the world for just one more day.
I love you enough to know just what all the poets and writers were talking about when they told of the sun and the moon's love.
I don't have to feel you to know your skin is the only one I wanna be kissing for the rest of my life.
I don't need to see you right in front of me to describe every inch of you. If I just close my eyes...
And as nights get lonely and days drag on without you here with me, I remind myself that unlike the sun and the moon we will be seeing each other soon.
