Roman Soldiers
Roman soldiers in their coats of armor.
Swords and shields , daggers clutched in tight hands.
Killing friends and brothers because they fought on the wrong side.
A tale of two soldiers at war with each other.
A battle fought a battle won for the Roman soldiers.
No turning back.
A big feast after the battle.
Men drinking from golden cups.
Eating roasted pigs.
Lots of lives lost lost of blood shed.
Getting ready for another battle.
Hoping their lives won't be lost.
Today their lives were spared.
Tomorrow they might not be so lucky.
When they go to battle.

Mate, this is a case of knowing what you are writing about. What suit of armour did most Roman soldiers have? Even the term 'suit of armour' belongs to feudal French and English knights who came much later. Same goes with the golden cups....there weren't any everyday Roman soldiers drinking out of golden cups....or eating roast pig while on campaigns.
All minor points, but you must take care to write about what you know, because your readers often will. No sham in doing some research for a write mate.
