Moon Hooked

A waxing orb anomaly.
Melts her way into the cresent.
And i, with it; from it.
Like the moth i flutter for the touch.
Headfirst toward the permanent glow.

My first piercing; through the lip.
For without a bite, I'm hooked.
Cresent loom in wait.
Cresent loom to weave through through my mouth into my soul.
Teaching as it does, that i have one.
Teaching as she does, that i hold one.

Dripping from the candle.
I still see it's stalk standing firmly.
Questioning if her view matches mine.
Through different skies, same reverence.

Waning worship.
Met with my silence.
It seems a secret now; though my hope is constant.
A hope that she may know of it.
Without the proper words.

Her displays are always noticed;
Never acknowledged enough.
But like my peers, i see it as i stare.
And as the hook pulls on my lips,
She lifts me up again.
My imagination shows my feet lift from my grave.

With dangling shoelaces and arched back back.
Back, back to the days i made her smile.
Of days in which these Sun rays reigned.
Rain to loosen reigns from Helios' grasp.
Watered eyes that grow my pupils.
Leather strands that give the chariot back to my hands.

Hands that miss the touch;
Of the asteroid impacts she's earned while holding the shield for us.
And through my second piercing, spear through the ribs.
Spear i wielded foolishly to fall upon myself.

Is all to say, that i have never missed a moment;
Or held granted views from deadened sleepful vision.
I've seen the strength within you all along.
From such is where my eternal love was born.
In such expanse to rival this universe.

I have never lost my love,
Nor ever could.
I could never show my pride in depths that you deserve.
As i partake from countless centuries of ancient observations.
From the night sky's illumination.
Forever to remind me that I'll never lose appreciation.
