I like your comparison of resentment and wild flowers. I thought that was an interesting description that was wise and thoughtful in terms of masking the unpleasantness of resentment deceptively behind something pretty. What I find the most unpleasant is how resentment eats your guts out.

Resentment is like swallowing poison and expecting someone else to die. The only person we harm is ourselves.
