Gimmi a new god

I feel the need to rhyme
and as I've got some time
I'll spin some thoughts
around, then reach out
and find my pen.

And

when did this God thing start
was it a calling from the heart
or did we sow the seed
to feed this unrelenting
need to search for a purpose
and make life less worthless?

This world feels like

Sometimes I think the
ancients had a case
not to look within, but
up to outer-space

I ain't saying i believe
that would be a tad naive
but, dunno how it makes
you feel, but I like the
honestly of faith in
something real.

Now we live in the
enlightend age, and we
know the sun is a giant
nuclear fire-cage, and
even with the knowlege
we gain from this amazing
brain, we still need to
reinvent our gods
again and again and again....
