Say Yes
You say,
“If I was a sunflower
And you were the sun
I'd refuse to bloom.”
But I say, “No.”
If you were a sunflower
And if I were the sun
Your head would naturally
Turn to me
And your petals would open
To soak me in
You would let me give you
Light which is the thing
You need most
In your life.
So, turn towards me,
Look at my shining face,
Open yourself up
And smile.
Bloom for me,
Bask in me, be happy
Don’t say, “No.”
Say, “YES!”
“If I was a sunflower
And you were the sun
I'd refuse to bloom.”
But I say, “No.”
If you were a sunflower
And if I were the sun
Your head would naturally
Turn to me
And your petals would open
To soak me in
You would let me give you
Light which is the thing
You need most
In your life.
So, turn towards me,
Look at my shining face,
Open yourself up
And smile.
Bloom for me,
Bask in me, be happy
Don’t say, “No.”
Say, “YES!”
