Anime Girl

Sometimes it felt like I was falling for her
Though it wasn’t like we had anything in common
There was something unattainable about her
With her flaming red hair
And strong Texan accent
That always made me laugh

She loved all things Japanese
And looked like an anime dream
When she dolled herself up
Into a manga fantasy
All kisses and hugs
… And ecstasy

And she loved the boys
Knew how to play it up
In miniskirts and low cut tops
With weapons of mass distraction
So the world could see
How DD breasts should look

Amongst passionate kisses
And all the PDA we could muster
So we could drive the boys crazy
And forget all the things we lacked
Gentle hands sliding up tingling thighs
Playing, “Who’s the bigger tease?”

Sometimes it felt like I was falling for her
Though it wasn’t like we had anything in common
With weird silences and repetitive conversations
Save our love of Japanese horror films
And all the mythology
She could shoot me up with

All mixed in with hugs and kisses
Flame red hair, and DD breasts
With a strong Texan accent
That always made me laugh
