Tunnel

Trapped!      
In a place    
where      
time      
stands      
still    
 Staring me down      
Testing my will    
   
      Wasting away    
         while pacing the floor    
       Turning in circles    
        as I search    
         for the door    
     
   
My parade of Lie's:    
Was stopped short    
of the end    
Made to pull off;    
    where the road    
does not bend    
     
Now     
   
I'm picking      
through trash    
while sharing my      
   stash    
Living off nothing    
cause  
I don't      
have the cash    
     
    
I blame Myself    
for the reasons    
You can't help me    
              Out    
When my actions    
leave room    
for reasonable doubt    
   
    Tho a weekend away    
      might be what I need    
    to realize the Danger    
     of wanting to bleed    
     
Stripped of the relics    
that define who I am    
Crying "Wolf"      
    in the wind    
while disguised as      
a lamb    
An innocent victim    
who deserves to be free    
Because:      
     "Stupid stuff like this"    
      shouldn't happen to me!?!    
     
Now  
    this long wait    
Interrupted by sleep    
Is a temporary fate;
