Have me.
Have faith in me.
Appear translucent and fade for me.
Hold me.
Hold grudge for me.
Erase my clouded filth and touch me.
The time for hopes and wishes has passed.
The meaning of those are alien at best.
I like to see my future bright.
But darkness has consumed my light.
Let me guide you away from pain.
Cover my prints and follow the rain.

I think there is an honesty to your voice which is engaging. I tend to keep my rhyming sparse for impact, free verse has a more organic feel to it, is how I feel about it. Thank you for sharing with us.
