dkzk Great Communications, Volume XZ.39/
I don't recall the details,
(but maybe I do).
The first i heard someone say :
"I feel your pain",
I thought I was gonna vomit.
I believe it was some 40 years ago
at a patient/staff meeting at the psych hospital i worked at.
It was a "well meaning" psychiatrist
trying come across as compassionate.
I remember thinkin', who is this guy,
(aside from being a fucking moron)?
Every time I've heard it since, it's like,
(beside the nausea), there ought to
be a law against uttering that phrase,
with a long prison sentence attached.
Double for politicians and psychiatrists.
