metamorphosis
of sorts
learning to live successfully
shedding my triggers
personal lust disembarking
there was always fear of this moment
it’s unfounded
was hoping for that but still wary
there are things I would have said in passing
not saying them now
a silence prevails in its place
soon there will be content
perhaps a message
light passes through darkness
grey civility
a cup of tea
splendor
steam
ordained
a new me

i always kind of hate personal growth in other people. ha!
wait. that isn't true. i truly am happy when people can make changes that better themselves. it just shines lights on areas of my own life that i need to get together and it's so fucking hard.
but i am proud of you. so very proud.

I don’t know if this is personal growth but it’s definitely different from the life I’ve been living for a very long time.
I was actually inspired to write this by a poet who used to be on this site. She has a miraculous story and it set off some fireworks in my head
