People dying
Still denying
They've got Covid
It doesn't exist they say
With their dying breath
We can add another death

We watch the hospitals fill
Till they start to spill
And they say
We've turned the corner
Deaths pile up
So do the mourners

Zealots are all in
They bought
into the spin
They are so sure
That their President
Couldn't be beat
If he doesn't win
Someone had to cheat

The river of denial
It flows pretty fast
You can fight against the current
But you can't make it last
You can deny the news
Until your brain goes numb
Sooner or later
You're gonna succumb
You won't give in
It's not your style
