Sun Kissed

I am small...
Just a tiny speck
On the face of the earth
Much like a little
Grain of sand
I am content to be
Just what I am
No more...no less

I feel little...
I press my face against
The warm wet sand
Waves are crashing
Out there in the ocean
It is so quiet here
Except for the sea sounds
I am being kissed by the sun

I am tiny....
Like a little ladybug
Or a simple blade of grass
But I've been blessed
In a way I've never
Known before and
Everything in my world
Is unfolding just as it should
