Poet(ess)
In the sky,
the moon is the companion
of the forgotten soul
The dim light of a lamp
casts a glow by the window
A poet sits in contemplation
an eternal prisoner of inspiration
She saw a secret trace,
a trace of earthly delights
The poet's pen waits
in the arms of silence, new lines
Under the cover of darkness,
desires are not inhibited
The poet's world cannot be understood,
all the secrets of the world live in it
But there is a seal on her soul,
and her life is dressed in sorrow
She entered the game,
confused angels and demons
She entered the lines
where doubts are without meaning
Her contract was signed in blood,
Interest mingled with pain
the moon is the companion
of the forgotten soul
The dim light of a lamp
casts a glow by the window
A poet sits in contemplation
an eternal prisoner of inspiration
She saw a secret trace,
a trace of earthly delights
The poet's pen waits
in the arms of silence, new lines
Under the cover of darkness,
desires are not inhibited
The poet's world cannot be understood,
all the secrets of the world live in it
But there is a seal on her soul,
and her life is dressed in sorrow
She entered the game,
confused angels and demons
She entered the lines
where doubts are without meaning
Her contract was signed in blood,
Interest mingled with pain

Re: Re. Poet(ess)
lol well, I won't resist being called a damned stubborn true southern girl so we can agree on that... and you definitely made me smile. I suppose I will keep exploring those dark regions with the Poetesses.
You almost beat me into submission, so there.
Nyah? you know that can have multiple meanings... which I wonder... ;) 💖

You are more than just a poetess but a portrait of cognizance in a darkened night

Re. Poet(ess)
Whether you feel worthy or not you are blessed with a wonderful talent and I am privileged to read your work. This passage is such a fascinating take on our art, "an eternal prisoner of inspiration" I know, when inspired. I feel it my duty to record whatever thoughts flow through me from the cosmos. Brava dear BD❤
