Shadow Within Her
She stood in the silence of luv
finally escaping feeling empty and alone
dwelling on if you still luved her
Moonlight softly glowing upon her
looking at a image of pure beauty
smile of happiness upon her lips
Wrinkles of age seemed not to show
bright green eyes shone with passion
painted long lashes beautifully flirting
Then a purple shaded shadow appeared
pain struck deep within her chest
weak and faint she felt as it disappeared
Moon weeped watching her sensual sexy image change
she felt death as stars mysteriously flickered above
bewilderedness now consumes her purple shadowed heart
The death she felt within her soul......is you
The purple shadowed spirit within her heart......is you
The she written here who will always luv ya.......is me

Ugh, that hollowness of loss. Nothing fills it does it? Memories and thoughts. Your write tells of this ache magnificently. It’s so difficult sometimes to keep marching. Primal screaming? Sometimes that’s a release but then it’s done and your throat hurts. I’m sorry I have no words of intelligence to be of any worthy assistance but your poem is brilliant and I’ll stop at that. H🌷

Now this an eloquent description of heartbreak
And a touching moment of honesty, kinda hard sometimes to own up to still loving someone who took you beyond "blue" into the realm of purple.
