You cannot love
Someone else if
You do not love
Yourself first.
So I can't love
(Learned that
the hard way).
Seems I decided
On that point
Decades ago
As a young man
Oh, we all go
Through the motions
forget the emotions
Or, nowadays, the e-motions?
Some people much prefer
To be solitaire
Than solidaire.
Deal with it.
