A Short Look at Modern Times
Women travel in packs.
Men prowl alone or in pairs.
Children play and roughhouse.
And "prove themselves" through silly dares.
We surround ourselves in concrete and iron.
Miles apart from our intended world.
Ignoring what we unwittingly know.
Doing only what society has told.
But instinct stays strong.
And faith will steer us straight.
Our original design is still there,
Most reliable to date!
Civilization as it is now
Is a joke to the woods and sea.
Modernization clouds our vision.
And hides what Real Life could be.
