Apple Blossom
I woke amongst the grass
Blue blossoms in the night
Such starlight from above
Came through the apple tree.
I slept in meadows wide
And yellow hills of pine
Such words will not describe
Here by the apple tree.
My blanket, soft as Earth
Cushion of the age
Let listless time pass by-
Dreams by the apple tree.
The sunken greens dance wide
Sunlight sings from clouds behind-
With this swaying friend beside
My calming apple tree.
I find thoughts are clearest now-
Lay down around the birch
Let time not drag me forth
From the reddened apple tree.
I've found my peace- my muse
my love.
With branches high above.
Washed in blessful, bouts of
still.
- silent tranquillity.
These are my joys, my hopes
and peace.
This single, serene
life.
My paradise is here,
this shrine;
If only you could see.
