Diagnosis- poem 2 of 10 in my collection 'Letters of Affliction'
Humor disguised,
The sad red eyes,
While wordsmiths tongue,
Revealed all doubt.
The cold.
The pressure.
The vulnerability.
The evidence on screen.
Discourse unveiled,
The poison within.
Water,
Polluted by greed.
Weightlessly drowning,
Unheard.
Gasping for breath,
Unanswered.
Trapped by fear,
Choking on awareness.
Too breathless for belief,
Eyes dried open.
Diagnosis

This my second poem in my collection called, Letter of Affliction. Diagnosis is simple the moment when all my suspicions were confirmed, and though I knew it to be true, I was shocked into despair.
