Windows to the soul
Although your mouth smiles
Your eyes reflect pain
Eyes
That once shone bright
Now glisten with tears
Your eyes reveal fear
Eyes
Have become an empty void
No longer radiating love
Your eyes cannot be ignored
Eyes
Gaze deeply
Craving affection
Your eyes have lost their direction
Eyes
Windows to your soul
I notice you
With you, I will grow old.

....incredible emotional write!!! I really love the culmination of this submission. The use of the metaphors using the eyes to express the struggles with relationships culminating with you seeing through his eyes to his soul is beautifully written. Soulmates!!!
