The climb is forever
Stairs in my wake
My feet burn
Every leap I make
What's real
And what is fake
For heavens sake
Sky temple
The electric chair
Glistening halo flare
Halt
He who dares
Turn the key
33 degrees
The keeper
The cosmos sleeper
Our terrestrial reaper
Sky army
At your service
I'm feeling nervous
Crumbling crust
Natures dust
Earth
Humbly chosen
Galaxies serenely frozen

People everywhere always think the world is ending, and have always done so. The only thing new under the sun is climate change. Everything else has been done and done, and the world is still here. Apocalypse yet? 🙄. Don't make me laugh. Instead, pretend it's 1940 and your name is Anne Frank, knowwhatimean?

I hear ya... I dont think climate change is new either... it's just new to this current race of humans... the universe is one big gigantic mirror of reflection... held within a room of mirrors... it's really not just an apocalyptic story... but a journey to and through death and beyond... and I have read the "Diary Of Anne Frank"... world was crazy then... and it's even more crazy now...

I like the line choice and most of the words/concepts for this piece,
however it would captivate more if there was a base meter and probably an accelerando.

Well thanks I think... the idea and flow of anything tempo here was to keep it simple... as the events held within these lines are happening quickly all on there own.... ✌
