Image for the poem infidel

infidel

until eternity swings in motion's blessing
go nigh and go no further

raven's beak and toil
the underworld is listening
children of scorn torn inside themselves
darkness wanes then waxes

insidious nature is natural
it is rather unnatural to think this is sin
in the great universe divide, awaken

I look to the heavens and see a great eye
observing the turning of time
this isn't my first revolution on the earth

casting my lots for the future
I gain in knowledge I will not be fruitless
a barren womb nay
a mother birthing stars in the cosmos
