St. George
St. George atop his dragon,
I desire death by your flaming breath;
kiss my skin with trembling lips,
slide slowly betwixt wind and water;
devour me whole from below to beyond
as we lend heat to the afternoon sun
I desire death by your flaming breath;
kiss my skin with trembling lips,
slide slowly betwixt wind and water;
devour me whole from below to beyond
as we lend heat to the afternoon sun

Ok. I’ve had my moment. There is not a single thing about this that I don’t adore. Well done. Very well done.

When they only give you six lines to work with, you gotta make ‘em count 😈. Thank you so much for your support, Daisy 💜.

Oh my...
Beautiful and sensuous, fiery yet tender - and oozing with passion.
This is wonderful writing, as per your usual!
"I desire death by your flaming breath"
I absolutely adore this line. Like you could die in that moment and be perfectly content <3

Re. St. George
Takes a brave man to make love to a dragon LOL. The saint name reminds me of a comedy tv series in the 1960s titled George and the Dragon, the protagonists being acted by the lecherous Sid James and the somewhat risquely named Peggy Mount - though there was no sex in it!

Brave or just plain crazy, it all tends to end the same way LOL. Thank you for the read 💜

Dear L,
My my, says she whilst fanning herself! I’d have written sooner after the first read but I needed a cigarette first.😉
Hot hot hot and the very best of luck for this comp.
You’ve shed quite the different light on St. George for me. As a young ‘un I only knew him because we invoked him in church to watch over the soldiers heading off to Viet Nam. I much prefer this take. Excellent write.

Well, I packed as many old-world euphemisms for sex as I could into six lines, so poor St. George was outed lol. Thank you for reading and supporting in the beautiful way you always do. It always makes my day 💜.
