dear celestial Father
Adonai my sweet Adonai
will you marry me someday?
on the altar of sacrifice
I offer my humble prayers
I seek you in the heavens
I see you on the Earth
when I'm sitting quietly
contemplating in the garden
you trouble the tulip tree
so much like a wedding bouquet
much too big for me
a metaphor and a promise
from your heart to mine
when my time here on Earth is done
I will be ready, ready to greet you
a lady grown in wisdom
a child of your creation
I sing today to the universes
let it be known
I'm spoken for

I refer to the Parable because Adonai is a plural reference and in the story & there's more than one virgin.
"Adonai ( אֲדֹנָי, lit. "My Lords") is the plural form of adon ("Lord") along with the first-person singular pronoun enclitic. "

dearest Tallen you're right it is in reference to lords not lord...many of my writes are woven with mysteries hidden from my eyes I go on vibrations from the universe itself and instinct... in my poem obsidian there is a reference to d sharp it is a computer language but I knew that was right...I love that you have eyes and are paying attention 💕
