Meaningless Emotion
She sits alone
On the rocks
Staring out to sea
Warm salty air
Filling her lungs
As she breathes
To prove she is alive
A beautiful sight
To match
Beautiful feelings
That have no meaning
Meaningless Emotion
She is sitting
By the waters edge
Looking, searching
But he cannot be seen
She pushed him
On his raft
Out into the deep blue sea
He drifted away...
Her unwilling choice
Self-protecting from pain
Of love that has no purpose
Meaningless Emotion
She is heartbroken...
