Crucify me baby. Just get it done quick. Oh wait, already been there. It's never been quick. But it does give way, eventually.
The cardinal rule though is to just love. Bruised feelings can always be dealt with later, and cynicism is the easiest thing in the world to replicate. But an opportunity to Love Another, once lost, is harder to recapture.

Best to have loved once and lost then never have loved at all........True, cynicism is easy. But love, you will agree, is difficult. A lot of work.

Totally agree on that. You can't love yourself first, then it is impossible to love someone else.

I always found the reason why Jesus was crucified so oxymoronic when all he preached was love and peace. But the politics of the day saw him as an enemy of the state.
