There is a deer here
.....veers from the head lamps
And shoots his sweltering skin
He slows
And feels alive
His chest heaves
The onslaught of branches
A rocking chair
he is swaddled by the darkness
.....has shed the light

Grand anxiety metaphor of a deer on the run caught in the light only to find peace. Truly you write poetry like a woman sure of her talent and ready to make art. You poems are the dawn for my earth.
