GoodBye My Love
You were my first love
A love I’d never 4get
You picked me up when I was down
Showed me that life could be better
At least for a while you did
Eventually your true colors showed
But as a little child who was never shown love
How was I to know that it didn’t mean love
You showed me to a new world
A world my mother so loved to visit
You showed me to a world of happiness
You showed me a joy that my veins loved
A way to escape
You had me getting high with you every day
What a wonderful time we always had together
But how was I to know that the joy you brought was on temporary
Every time you brought me up I always came back down
Guess I was young and dumb
And even after all we been through I still love you
But I realize you’re no good for me
So good bye heroin
This here is the end of you and me
