Death Allow

They're pumping pills into the broken..
for the price of war is survival,
to grow old in a world that holds no insight
on the damage a man with ideas can cause.
Poorly devised acts of mental care
to feel their duty was righteous
because kids see them as action stars
and video game characters brought to life
while they swallow the death of existing memories
and jump to soft pops of water bottles
like politics jump to codemn military forces
but quick to threaten action to keep their riches on the streets where people want to be heard.
