Censorship
I wonder why ‘censorship’ is not an option in the list of themes. I chose ‘Write’s Block’ as a synonym.
It seems my friend has been banned for speaking her mind.
Sky Dancer’s unabashed demeanor and beautiful writing is what drew me here, and the site seems flat with her absence.
Art is expression, often with the intent to trigger emotion-both positive and negative. If you don’t like it change the channel,.
I’m sure the spin doctors will conjure something that sounds reasonable and intelligent to justify silencing someone who chooses to communicate in their own way. It’s still censorship
Her ban causes me pain.
In solidarity, I will remain silent until her return, and I will again withdraw my financial support for the site.
See you all sometime next month.

I haven't been here long enough to know all the 'politics' yet I do know that if we're all donating to the site (as I am too) then we should have a say. No one can hear you if you're not here. Maybe it's been done already? Laying out the case... or maybe it needs to be.

You seem like such an intelligent person, Kinkpoet. I still don't understand how anyone could confuse a blatant verbal attack on another as freedom of expression that should be allowed?!

Support the * truth * of the message, but reject the baseless accusations and delivery if it's bullying or attacking. Unless, of course, you support bullying attacks by those you consider your friend. In which case, you're merely a part of the problem, not solution.

Secondly, Missy is not my friend; that is widely known. I simply don't believe in bullying via verbal attacks and accusations without proof on ANYONE. We should ALL be against bullying and blatant verbal attacks.

Kinkpoet, based on your behaviour, you obviously don't have all the facts or are pretending you don't.
I suggest you consult with Madame Lavender as to how many times Sky was flagged for unprovoked attacks and how many times she was banned in response to said attacks since the beginning of this year - on Ahavati, myself, Missy and "the Mods".
I certainly don't appreciate being referred to in the forum on multiple occasions as an "online sexual predator" aside from the repeated unsolicited insults against Ahavati.
Her repeated unsubstantiated inferences and accusations that we pay moderators or via Carpe's account that we fix competions is just petty and tiresome.
And Ahavati has never bullied Tallen, but welcomed him to this site while he was at odds with other members over his return.
Do yourself a favor and get your facts straight before you create further public spectacles and needlessly prolonge this drama.

You are correct, I am probably not fully informed.. II do not follow every forum, and am also not aware of all of the previous history on this site.
I was not aware of accusations of sexual predation and I am glad they are not true.
I do not know Madame Lavender except for reading a few of her poems and seeing a few comments.. Is she a moderator or site historian? Does she have something to do with the current issue?
Carpes account? Fixed competitions? Is that what the issue was about? Not sure what that means. Can you clarify? Again, I probably don’t have all of the information.

I have no desire to read something from someone who doesn't even know ( nor wants to know ) all the facts to a situation; but, rather, allows themselves to be spoonfed half the story and then acts. You are keeping this drama alive not for the resolution of bullying, but for the sake of attention.

MadameLavender is the lead moderator who has all the information you need regarding Sky being banned 3 times so far this year.
The 1st ban involved harassing Ahavati and Missy and accusing them both of abusing Tallen. Tallen has seen the screenshots of these abusive posts by Sky. He can validate this.
Her harassments have continued since then.
Get your facts from factual sources. All you have to do is ask for it.
