"A Spider Spun a Web"

Until today
I never watched
A spider spin
A Web.

I guess
I never
Had the time.

It's intercate strings
Run rings
Around the pioneers
Of yesterday.

It made me realise
What i took
For granted
And the stupid things
I said.

The beauty of nature
Vs the selfishness
And disgrace
Of the human race .

A spider
Lives on instinct
Until it made extinct
Crushed by a stampead
Of fantastic footwear
And scared mothers
Standing on chairs
And screaming for
Father.

But there's something
Extremely
Calming watching a spider
Spin a Web.

Nature made it this way.

A poem about watching a spider spining a Web, and the moment of clarity I so desperately needed.
