Flotsam and jetsam
flood plains or words
sometimes i get them confused
they’re both seem so pointless
except when they're getting used
then oh look out it's so important
fuck you i live on a hill
but there i proved my point you're reading this
and don't you know that words can kill
why every war that was every fought
started with some fucking speech
rile them up, derive is from ought
that's what the history books teach
then i sat down wrote a poem gave it to you
now i'm done. fuck! now what the fuck to do?

Dear C,
Rock bottom truth. Words will build you up and tear you right down with one swift swirl of the pen. Words will last forever, death is swifter. I think your small capped writing is effective in showing the smallness of human nature against the largeness of writing and putting ideas out there that can either be positive or negative enough to kill. This is a powerful message your poem.
